In this lesson, we will learn about the gender in Tajik language. Gender is an important part of Tajik grammar and it affects the way words are used in a sentence.

What is Gender?

Gender is a grammatical category that is used to distinguish between nouns, pronouns, adjectives, and verbs in a sentence. In Tajik language, there are two genders: masculine and feminine.

Masculine Gender

Masculine gender is used for words that refer to male persons or animals. For example:
