The Arabic language has subject pronouns for males and females as following:

- I: pronounced as " Ana" it's equal for male and female. it's written as ุฃูุง
You[edit | edit source]
- You (masc) = ุฃูุช = anta
- You (fem) = ุฃูุช = anti
- You (dual) = ุฃูุชู ุง = antuma
- You (plural, masc) = ุฃูุชู = antum
- You (plural, fem) = ุฃูุชู = antunna

- We: pronounced as "nahno" for both males and females. it's written as ูุญู
He/She[edit | edit source]
- He: pronounced as "Hoowa" it's written as ูู
- She: pronounced as "Heya" it's written as ูู
They[edit | edit source]
- They (dual) = ูู ุง = humma
- They (plural,masc) = ูู = hom
- They (plural,fem) = ูู = hunna

In arabic they are frequently dropped except in the equational (verbless) sentences like:
- I'm happy = ุฃูุง ุณุนูุฏ
- I'm from ูAlgeria = ุฃูุง ู ู ุงูุฌุฒุงุฆุฑ
- I am from the US = ุฃูุง ู ู ุฃู ุฑููุง (ana min amriika)
- He is from Egypt = ูููู ู ู ู ููุตุฑ
- He is an engineer. = ูู ู ููุฏุณ (howwa mohandis)
