Hello Turkmen learners! 😀

In today's lesson, you will learn how to form the ordinal numbers in Turkmen.

These are formed by use of the suffix –ynjy/inji following a consonant and –njy/nji following a vowel

e.g.

  • sekizinji Mart – the eighth of March
  • ol ikinji gatda ýaşaýar – he lives on the first [US: second] floor
