Here are the days of the week in Saidi Arabic:
Saidi Arabic | Pronunciation | English |
---|---|---|
يوم الاثنين | yoom el-ethnayn | Monday |
يوم الثلاثاء | yoom el-thalatha | Tuesday |
يوم الأربعاء | yoom el-arba'a | Wednesday |
يوم الخميس | yoom el-khamees | Thursday |
يوم الجمعة | yoom el-guma'a | Friday |
يوم السبت | yoom el-sabet | Saturday |

It is important to note that Fridays are very significant in the Islamic world, as it is the day of Jummah prayer. On Fridays, many Muslims go to the mosque (Jami'a) for prayers.
To practice these words in context, let's have a quick dialogue:
- Person 1: يوم الجمعة، نصلي في الجامع. (yoom el-guma'a, nesalli fel jami'a.) (On Fridays, we pray at the mosque.)
- Person 2: ما شاء الله، دايما مؤدي الصلاة في وقتها. (ma sha' allah, dayman mo'di essalah fel wa't'ha.) (Wow, always performing the prayer on time.)
