Basics[edit | edit source]

Before we dive into the education-related vocabulary, let's review some basics. Odia is the primary language spoken in Odisha, a state in eastern India. It is a classical language that dates back almost 2000 years. Odia uses a script derived from the Brahmi script, which is also used in other Indian languages.

If you are not familiar with the Odia script, I highly recommend learning it as it can make the learning process easier. You can find online resources at Polyglot Club. You can also reach out to native speakers and ask them any questions that you may have.
