As you can see, the question particle "mi" is added to the end of the sentence to indicate that it is a yes/no question. Pay attention to the word order in North Azerbaijani questions. The subject usually comes before the verb.

Wh-Questions

Wh-questions are questions that begin with question words such as "who," "what," "where," "when," "why," and "how." In North Azerbaijani, these questions are formed by using the appropriate question word at the beginning of the sentence. Let's look at some examples:
