啊 a (particle that softens the sentence) in Mandarin Chinese

Definition[edit | edit source]

Radical is 口 kŏu “mouth”. This radical is referred to colloquially as 口字旁 kŏuzìpáng “side made up of the character 口.” Phonetic is 阿 ā.
