Definition[edit | edit source]
Radical is 力 lì “strength” (478). The other component is 攵 pū “rap” or “tap.” The traditional character also includes 矛 máo “spear” on the left-hand side. The whole character 务 (務) can serve as a phonetic, e.g., in 雾 (霧) wù “fog.”
