The verb 'are' is used to describe plural nouns. In Korean, the verb 'are' can be translated as the word "입니다" (in Hangul: "이다"). Here are some examples:

As you can see, the verb 'are' is used to describe the good performance of a group of people and the fact that the speaker and their friends attend the same school. Note that, as with the verb 'is', the verb 'are' always comes at the end of the sentence in Korean.
