When you want to express your opinion in Dari, there are several ways to do so. Let's have a look at some phrases that you can use:

Now, let's use these phrases in context:

  • Person 1: برای شما چه خبر است؟ (barāye shomā che khabar ast?) (How are you?)
  • Person 2: خوبم، بنظر من این هوا خیلی خنک است. (khob-am, bə-nəzar-e man in havā khayli khank ast.) (I'm good, but in my opinion, the weather is very cool.)
  • Person 1: تا حالا به اروپا سفر کردی؟ (tā hālā be orupā safar kardi?) (Have you ever traveled to Europe?)
  • Person 2: خیر، ولی به نظر آشنایان من، اروپا خیلی زیباست. (kheir, vali be-nazar-e ashnāi-ye man, orupā khayli zib ast.) (No, but according to my acquaintances, Europe is very beautiful.)
  • Person 1: به نظرت چه غذایی بهتر است؟ (be-nazar-et che ghazāyi behtar ast?) (In your opinion, what is the best food?)
  • Person 2: نظر من این است که غذای ایرانی بهترین است. (nazar-e man in ast ke ghazā-ye irāni behtarin ast.) (My view is that Iranian cuisine is the best.)
  • Person 1: آیا در جشن تولد برادرتان شرکت می‌کنید؟ (āyā dar jashn-e tavalod-e barādar-etān sharikat mikonid?) (Will you attend your brother's birthday party?)
  • Person 2: خیر، با توجه به تجربه من، جشن تولد برای من خیلی به جا نیست. (kheir, bā tavajjoh be tajrobe-ye man, jashn-e tavalod barāy-e man khayli be jā nist.) (No, from my experience, birthday parties are not my thing.)

As you can see, there are different ways to give your opinion in Dari. You can use these phrases in your conversations to express your thoughts and ideas with confidence.

When you are in a conversation, you may need to agree or disagree with someone's opinion. Let's look at some phrases that you can use:

Let's use these phrases in context:

  • Person 1: من فکر می‌کنم آمریکا کشور بسیار جذابی است. (man fekr mikonam āmrikā keshvar-e besiyār jazābi ast.) (I think America is a very attractive country.)
  • Person 2: درست است، من همینطور فکر می‌کنم. (dorost ast, man hamin-tor fekr mikonam.) (Absolutely right, I think so too.)
  • Person 1: فصل تابستان را دوست ندارم، چون خیلی گرم است. (fasl-e tābestān rā dust nadāram, chon khayli garm ast.) (I don't like summer because it's very hot.)
  • Person 2: من هم با شما موافقم، فصل پاییز بهتر است. (man ham bā shomā mowāfeq-am, fasl-e pāyiz behtar ast.) (I agree with you, autumn is better.)

Expressing Disagreement[edit | edit source]

Let's use these phrases in context:

  • Person 1: من فکر می‌کنم فوتبال بهترین ورزش است. (man fekr mikonam futbāl behtarin varzesh ast.) (I think soccer is the best sport.)
  • Person 2: این نظر من نیست، من فکر می‌کنم بسکتبال بهتر است. (in nazar-e man nist, man fekr mikonam basketbāl behtar ast.) (That's not my opinion, I think basketball is better.)
  • Person 1: خوردن گوجه‌فرنگی بسیار سالم است. (khordan-e goje-farangi besiyār sālem ast.) (Eating tomatoes is very healthy.)
  • Person 2: من با شما موافق نیستم، فکر می‌کنم صحبت‌های شما درست نیستند. (man bā shomā movāfeq nist-am, fekr mikonam sohbat-hā-ye shomā dorost nistan-d.) (I don't agree with you, I think your points are not correct.)

By using these phrases, you can effectively express your agreement or disagreement in a conversation.
