How to Form the Conditional Mood[edit | edit source]

The conditional mood is formed by using the particle ဆို (sho) after the verb. The particle ဆို (sho) is used to indicate that the action is dependent on a certain condition.

Examples[edit | edit source]

  • သူငယ်ချင်းဆိုမြောက်တယ် (thu nge kyin sho myar tay) - If you go, I will come.
  • သူငယ်ချင်းဆိုမြောက်မရှိတယ် (thu nge kyin sho myar mhar tay) - If you don't go, I won't come.
