The conditional mood in Bengali is formed by adding the suffixes -āĻ¤ā§/-āĻ¤ā§āĻ/-āĻ¤ā§āĻ/-āĻ¤ā§āĻ°/-āĻ¤ā§āĻ¨ to the verb stem. The suffixes are added depending on the person and number of the subject.

The suffixes for the conditional mood are as follows:
- -āĻ¤ā§ for the first person singular (I)
- -āĻ¤ā§āĻ for the second person singular (you)
- -āĻ¤ā§āĻ for the third person singular (he/she/it)
- -āĻ¤ā§āĻ° for the first person plural (we)
- -āĻ¤ā§āĻ¨ for the second person plural (you)
For example, the verb āĻā§āĻ˛āĻž (to play) has the following forms in the conditional mood:
