🤷‍♂️🌎Who is this meetup for?
This meetup is for anyone learning a language and looking to practice speaking with native speakers and learn from other learners. All language levels are welcome!

🤷‍♂️🗣How it works:
When you arrive, look for one of our organizers who will help you create a nametag and find a seat. We usually have 1-3 tables based on the languages people want to practice. English, Spanish, French, and Chinese are popular choices, but we also have occasional tables for Portuguese, Japanese, and more! To increase your chances of practicing the language you want, comment with your preferred language.

During the event, aim to spend about half the time practicing your target language and the other half helping others practice theirs.

🚫We kindly ask participants to avoid discussions about political and religious topics and any kind of solicitation. This is not a dating event, so please respect the comfort of other attendees. If you notice any inappropriate behavior, please approach one of the organizers.

Langroops is a volunteer-led language exchange community that hosts free weekly events for various languages. We provide a safe space for sincere language learners to practice with native speakers.

❓Can I come if I am a beginner/haven't started learning yet?
👉Absolutely! Language learners and enthusiasts of all levels are welcome. However, you'll get the most out of the event if you can speak at least a little in the language you are learning.

❓Can I come late?
👉Yes! Feel free to join at any time after the event has started.

❓What time does the event end?
👉The event officially runs from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, after which the library closes.

❓How often does this event take place?
👉Every weekend!

❓Can I move between tables?
👉Absolutely! If you want to practice multiple languages, you can move between tables as you wish. Just make sure to spend some time helping others with your native language.

❓Where is the English table?
👉Every table is an English table! Simply join the table with the sign for your native language and meet English speakers learning your language to practice with.

❓Is there a table for a specific language (e.g., X language)?
👉Tables are based on attendee interests, and our popular tables are mentioned above. However, we are happy to open a table for any language. Just comment below and arrive on time :)
