🤷‍♂️🌎Who is this meetup for?
This meetup is for language learners who are interested in practicing speaking with native speakers and getting tips from fellow learners! All languages and levels are welcome.

🤷‍♂️🗣How does it work?
When you arrive, look for an organizer who will help you make a nametag and find a seat. We will have multiple tables based on attendance, each dedicated to English + another language. Our popular tables include Spanish, Chinese, French, Japanese, German, Korean, and Russian. We often have tables for Italian and Portuguese, and occasionally for Hebrew and Arabic. If your language is not listed, we also have a "General/Mix table" where you can connect with people who share your interests. Please inform the organizers of all the languages you speak/practice so that we can assist you in finding the right people or setting up a table for you. Commenting below with your languages significantly increases the chances of finding practice partners at the event. You should aim to spend approximately equal time practicing and helping others.

🤷‍♂️📌Where?
If weather permits, this event will take place outdoors in front of the New York Public Library (opposite to Bryant Park)! Check the Google map link here. In the case of rain, we will hold the event at 590 Madison Ave, a public indoor atrium with seating. Check the Google map link here. Any decision to change the event location will be made on the morning of the event. If you have any questions, please comment below.

💵 Suggested contribution: $1+ from all attendees (Cash or Venmo @langroops or Pledge from this event page). Your contributions enable us to continue organizing fun language learning events.

🥤Bottled water is usually available at the entrance for $1. Feel free to drop it in the box.

🚫We kindly request that participants refrain from discussing political and religious topics and from engaging in any form of solicitation at our events. This is not a dating event, so please avoid any interactions that may make other attendees uncomfortable. If you witness any inappropriate behavior, please approach one of the organizers so that we can address it.

📷*We may take pictures at our events for memories and social media purposes. We will strive to notify you beforehand.
