🤷‍♂️🌎Who should attend?
This meetup is for anyone learning a language and looking to practice speaking with native speakers and learn from fellow language enthusiasts! All languages and levels are welcome.

🤷‍♂️🗣How it works:
Upon arrival, seek out an organizer who will assist you in creating a nametag and finding a seat.

We typically have 1-3 tables based on the languages participants are interested in practicing. The most common languages are English, Spanish, French, and Chinese, but we sometimes have tables for Portuguese, Japanese, and more! If you let us know which language you want to practice, we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

We encourage you to spend about half of your time practicing your target language and the other half helping others with their language learning journey.

🤷‍♂️📌Where?
The event will be held indoors at the main hall of the Brooklyn Central Library. You can find the location on Google Maps.

This event is FREE
💵 Contributions are welcome via Venmo (@langroops) before or after the event. Your support enables us to continue organizing fun language learning events!

FAQs:

👉Yes! Feel free to join us at any time after the event has started.

❓What time does the event end?
👉The official event hours are from 3-5 PM, after which the library closes.

❓Can I switch between tables?
👉Certainly! If you're practicing multiple languages, you can move between tables as you wish. Just make sure to spend some time assisting others with your native language!

❓Is there a table for language X?
👉Tables are based on attendance, and we try to connect people who share language interests at the event. We're happy to open a table for any language - just let us know in the comments and make sure to arrive on time. :)
