EVENT OVERVIEW

Join us for an engaging online language exchange! This virtual meet-up replicates the essence of in-person exchanges, enabling participants to connect and practice languages, albeit from the comfort of their own homes.

We will organize private breakout rooms dedicated to various languages, allowing attendees to join groups that match their interests. If you're a polyglot, feel free to explore multiple rooms throughout the event!

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

  1. Register for FREE on Eventbrite and indicate your native and target languages. This helps us assign you to the appropriate groups.

  2. After securing your FREE ticket, you will receive an email with the Event ID and Password on the day of the event.

  3. With a variety of languages represented, you can easily move between different breakout rooms during the event.

  4. To maintain an engaging atmosphere, please keep your camera on throughout the event.

  5. As we have a limited number of spots, we encourage you to RSVP promptly.

Feel free to BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage), whether it's alcoholic or non-alcoholic!

All languages are invited! However, we cannot guarantee that a partner will be available for every language.

CODE OF CONDUCT:

  1. Upon logging in, you will be directed to your designated chat room.

  2. Please show respect to fellow participants and allow everyone a chance to engage with others.

  3. As most participants are native speakers of one or two languages, we encourage everyone to assist and accommodate each other as much as possible.

  4. If you are unable to communicate in the required language, please do not engage.

  5. Participants exhibiting rude or aggressive behavior will be removed at the discretion of the organizers.

  6. To minimize disruptions, we kindly ask that attendees refrain from using the comment box. Direct any questions to the organizers instead.

  7. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for solicitation. If you're interested in promoting, sponsoring, or collaborating, please reach out to us at vincentvincent profile picture.

  8. Don’t hesitate to speak your local languages! We have diplomats assigned to various countries ready to practice with you.
