Join us for an engaging in-person Japanese language gathering at the Howard County Library Miller Branch!

• What to Expect
At the World Language Cafe hosted by the Columbia Association, our Japanese Table invites you to sip tea and chat in a friendly atmosphere. This event is a great opportunity to connect with others while exploring various languages, including Japanese! Let’s immerse ourselves in discussions about Japanese culture, cuisine, and more, all while conversing in either Japanese or English. Don’t forget, there will also be tables dedicated to other languages!

• What to Bring
Feel free to bring along any topics you’d like to discuss, along with Japanese books or study materials. You’re also welcome to share Japanese snacks or beverages to enhance the experience!

• Important Information
While our primary focus is on helping those who want to practice Japanese, we encourage everyone to enjoy conversations about Japanese culture and cuisine, even if it’s in English. The World Language Cafe will have diverse attendees, so let’s make an effort to converse in Japanese as much as possible. It's a wonderful chance to meet people who share a love for the Japanese language and culture!
