Join us for an exciting evening at Zorba's Cafe every Thursday! Our gathering will take place on the second floor, or, weather permitting, we’ll enjoy the ambiance outside at a street-side table. If you don’t see anyone on the second floor, it’s a good sign that we’re soaking up the fresh air outside!

Welcome back to our beloved venue! Zorba's Cafe has been our cherished meeting spot for many years, and we invite you to the second floor to reconnect.

Location: 1612 20th St NW, Washington, DC 20009

Conveniently located near the Dupont Circle Metro station, this is the same spot where we gathered every Thursday evening for many years before 2015.

Everyone is invited to join us, but please remember to converse in Russian only. For many participants, this is a valuable opportunity to practice their language skills. Enjoy happy hour specials while you’re at it!

Timing: Some of us usually arrive by 5:30 PM, but it may take the organizers until around 5:45 PM to show up. If you arrive early, don’t worry—just hang tight; we’ll be there! We typically stay until at least 8 PM, so feel free to drop in whenever you can!

RSVPs: While I encourage you to RSVP, it’s common for attendees to simply show up without prior notice. You might see only a few confirmations, but rest assured, we typically have a lively group! Newcomers often join us, so if it's your first time, you certainly won’t be alone.

On pleasant days, we often opt for outdoor seating. If the second floor seems quiet, just look for a lively group speaking Russian at the tables on the street.

Remember, it’s not unusual for only a handful of people to RSVP while many more show up. So don’t let the numbers discourage you—come and join the fun!
