Join us for an exciting in-person event at the World Languages Café!

Immerse yourself in a friendly atmosphere where you can practice a language you know or one you are learning. Meet new people who share a passion for language and culture, improve your fluency through conversation and listening, and learn useful phrases for your future travels.

Our World Language Cafés are held monthly, all year round. Mark your calendar for the upcoming event on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 7:00 PM. We will be gathering at the 50+ Center of the East Columbia Library located at 6600 Cradlerock Way, Columbia.

Choose from a variety of language tables hosted by native speakers. We offer American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese - Mandarin, Chinese - Cantonese, Dutch, English, Esperanto, Farsi, French, German, Haitian Creole, Hebrew, Hindi, Irish Gaelic, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish.

Please note that children under the age of 13 should be accompanied by an adult. Feel free to bring food and beverages, and if you'd like, share treats from your culture with your table.
