Join us for an exciting in-person event at the World Languages Café!

The World Languages Café provides a unique opportunity for language enthusiasts to converse, connect, and immerse themselves in different cultures. Whether you're a fluent speaker or just starting to learn, this friendly atmosphere is the perfect place to practice your language skills, meet new people, and enhance your fluency through engaging conversations.

Our monthly World Languages Café event will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The venue is located at the 50+ Center of the East Columbia Library, 6600 Cradlerock Way, Columbia.

At the event, you can choose from a variety of language tables hosted by native speakers. We offer a wide range of languages, including American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese - Mandarin, Chinese - Cantonese, Dutch, English, Esperanto, Farsi, French, German, Haitian Creole, Hebrew, Hindi, Irish Gaelic, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish.

Please note that children under the age of 13 should be accompanied by an adult. Feel free to bring your own food and beverages, and if you'd like, you can also share treats from your culture with your table.
