Join us for an exciting in-person language and culture event at the Howard County Library Miller Branch!

The Language Conversations & Cultural Exchange event is a perfect opportunity to practice a language you know or learn a new one. Immerse yourself in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, meet like-minded language enthusiasts, and expand your cultural horizons. Enhance your fluency by engaging in conversations and listening to native speakers, while also discovering useful phrases for your future travels and reconnecting with your childhood language.

This monthly event takes place on the second Thursday of every month from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Choose from a variety of language tables hosted by native speakers, including American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese - Mandarin, Chinese - Cantonese, Dutch, English, Esperanto, Farsi, French, German, Haitian Creole, Hebrew, Hindi, Irish Gaelic, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish.

Children under 13 years old are welcome to attend with adult supervision. Feel free to bring your own food and beverages, and you're also encouraged to bring treats from your culture to share with your table.
