Hiking at Mission Peak_ Stanford Trail Head, Sun, Jun 18, 2023, 8:00 AM

Join me on a thrilling hike at Mission Peak to kick off 2023! We'll be taking the Stanford trailhead, which is a shorter but steeper path. The trail spans 5.8 miles and has an elevation gain of 2,135 ft, making it a challenging hike for experienced hikers.

To prepare for this hike, make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes, bring at least two or three bottles of water, and pack some food and snacks for yourself. We'll be taking a break at the peak for about 30 minutes, where you can rest, take pictures with the famous pole, and enjoy some food.

Please note that this hike is not for the faint of heart. It's a strenuous hike, and you should have completed a hike with about 2000 ft elevation gain in the past. Additionally, parking can be challenging, so plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to find a spot.
