Join us for an unforgettable summer bonfire event! Experience the joy of dancing to fantastic music and mingling with a friendly crowd. Our previous event was a blast with 9 talented karaoke singers and dancers, not to mention the delicious food! We're hosting a potluck picnic on Friday, July 21st, and we're counting on you to bring some GOOD food to share. Don't forget to RSVP and update your profile picture and first name to secure your spot at the bonfire!

If you can, please bring some dry firewood to keep the bonfire going. You can easily find some in your area by checking the free section on CL. Remember, no whole pallets are allowed, so make sure to break them up. Are there any karaoke singers out there? We'd love to hear your talent! Don't forget to bring water and cold sodas to keep yourself hydrated.

Dress comfortably for what promises to be a beautiful day and a potentially cool evening. It's always a good idea to have a jacket in your car, just in case. And don't forget to bring your beach chairs! We appreciate any dry firewood you can bring as well.

Please note that alcohol and glass bottles are not allowed on City beaches. Let's celebrate with our international friends and potentially make new connections with people from 18 other social groups attending tonight!

Make sure to grab your beach chairs, bring some delicious potluck food, and don't forget the utensils. If you're unsure what to bring, consider bringing main courses or big entrees that you would personally enjoy. Pre-cooked food is welcome, but make sure to also bring a BBQ and fuel if you plan to cook it. Cutting everything into small pieces makes sharing easier!

If you're looking for ideas, you can always choose something you like or swing by Costco to pick up a party tray or their rolled turkey sandwiches and chicken tenders. Large fresh pizzas or cases of cold sodas and water bottles are also great choices!

Remember, alcohol and glass are not allowed on City beaches, so please refrain from bringing them. To secure the best parking, feel free to arrive early and enjoy some games or take a leisurely walk along the beautiful Mission Bay.

Our organizer, Steve, will be there early, securing the furthest West double picnic tables and the closest fire ring. Look for us at the double picnic tables and fire ring near the North-West end of the sidewalk.

If you're traveling North on H-5, take the Clairemont Dr offramp and turn West. Cross the 5 and then turn right onto E Mission Bay Dr. Continue until you reach De Anza Rd.

If you're traveling South on H-5, you can take the Balboa/MBayDr offramp or, if there's heavy traffic, continue South and take the Clairemont Dr turn off. Proceed straight on Mission Bay Dr, pass six stoplights, and take a sharp right turn from the right lane just before entering 5 South. Merge quickly into N Mission Bay Dr, turn right at the stop sign, and head North to De Anza Rd.

If you happen to miss the sharp right turn and end up on H-5 South, don't worry. Take the next offramp, Clairemont Dr, and get on E Mission Bay Dr going North until you reach De Anza Rd.
