Are you ready to make the most of San Diego's beautiful summer weather? Join us for a fantastic international potluck picnic and beach day at the stunning Ventura Cove Park in Mission Bay!

Get ready for an unforgettable event. Here's everything you need to know:

• ATTENTION: COMMITTED ATTENDEES ONLY. This is a "no flake" event, which means that once you sign up, we expect you to show up or update your RSVP if you can't make it. Please be considerate and don't take someone else's spot by not attending without informing the organizer.
• Delicious International Cuisine: Bring a dish to share, preferably representing your country of origin or culture. You can also bring food items to cook on the grill. Additionally, we would appreciate members bringing salads, fruits, and desserts.
• Other Essentials: We'll need drinks, ice, napkins, paper plates, utensils, and serving utensils. Don't forget to bring blankets, outdoor chairs, and game equipment like Frisbees. And since there's a beautiful beach nearby, consider bringing your swimsuit. Luis and I will be bringing our kayaks and life jackets, so anyone who wants to paddle is welcome!

How to Get There:

• If you're coming from South or East San Diego, take I-8 to the Sports Arena Blvd. exit. Make a right onto West Mission Bay Drive and continue onto the West Mission Bay Drive ramp. Cross the bridge, and the parking lot will be on your right-hand side.
• If you're coming from North San Diego, take I-5 to the Sea World Drive exit. Make a right onto Sea World Drive and continue onto the West Mission Bay Drive ramp. Cross the bridge, and the parking lot will be on your right-hand side. Parking is free in these lots, and there's also street parking available nearby.
• Note: The park is located across Ventura Cove from the Bahia Resort Hotel.
