Hello everyone! Starting from Monday 8th May, our Monday evenings will be held at Curlers, and Thursdays evenings at Tennent's!

Curlers is conveniently located next to Hillhead subway on Byres Rd. When you arrive, head upstairs, turn right, and you'll usually find us at the table in the far left corner by the window. Alternatively, at Tennent's, just turn left as you enter from Byres Rd, and we are often at one of the tables by the windows!

Frequently Asked Questions

What level of proficiency is required to join?
The group is open to everyone, from beginners to native speakers. Having even a basic conversational ability will enhance your experience!

What if I can't make it exactly at 7:00 PM?
The group is very casual, and we usually stay for a few hours, so feel free to join whenever you can. If you arrive at 7:00 PM and no one is there yet, give it about 15-20 minutes for others to arrive!

What if only one person is signed up for the event?
While the event page may show only a couple of RSVPs, we typically have a regular group of 10-15 attendees.

If you're looking to practice and improve your Spanish or English, join us at The Tennent's Bar on Byres Road at 7pm on Mondays and Thursdays. We have different hosts on different nights, and sometimes none, but you'll always be greeted by friendly people. You can find us at the top of the stairs, sitting on the long benches. We're excited to meet you and chat with you in Spanish and English.

We begin with a 'Spanish half hour' followed by an 'English half hour' so that each language receives equal time and engaging topics to keep the conversation flowing. We can't wait to see our regulars and extend a warm welcome to new members.
