Hello everyone! Starting from Monday, May 8th, our Monday evenings will be held upstairs at Curlers, and Thursdays evenings at Tennent's!

Upon entering Tennent's from the Byres Rd entrance, you can usually find the 2 tables on the left reserved for us.

Frequently Asked Questions

What level of proficiency is required to join?
The group welcomes everyone, from beginners to native speakers. Having some conversational ability is helpful, but all are encouraged to participate!

If I can't make it exactly at 7:00 PM, is that a problem?
The group is very relaxed, and people usually stay for a few hours. Feel free to join whenever you can. If you arrive at 7:00 PM and no one is there yet, give it 15-20 minutes for others to arrive!

What if only one person has RSVP'd?
While the event page may show only a few RSVPs, we usually have around 10-15 regular attendees.

If you want to practice and improve your Spanish or English, join us at The Tennent's Bar on Byres Road at 7:00 PM on Mondays and Thursdays. We have different hosts on different nights, and sometimes none, but there will always be friendly people to give you a warm welcome. You can find us at the top of the stairs where we will be seated on the long benches. We are excited to meet you and chat with you in Spanish and English.

We begin with a 'Spanish half hour' followed by an 'English half hour' to ensure each language receives equal time and to introduce some fun topics to keep the conversation flowing. We are eager to see our regulars and warmly welcome new members.
