Hello everyone! Starting from Monday, May 8th, our Monday evenings will be held upstairs at Curlers, and Thursdays evenings at Tennent's!

When you arrive at Tennent's from the Byres Rd entrance, you can find our reserved tables on the left side.

Frequently Asked Questions

What level of proficiency is required to join?
Our group welcomes everyone, from beginners to native speakers. Having some conversational ability is beneficial, but all are encouraged to participate!

If I can't make it exactly at 7:00 PM, is that a problem?
Our gatherings are very relaxed, and we usually stay for a few hours. Feel free to join us whenever you can. If you arrive at 7:00 PM and no one is there yet, give it some time as others may be on their way!

What if only one person has RSVP'd?
Even if the event page shows only a few RSVPs, we typically have a regular group of 10-15 attendees.

If you want to practice and improve your Spanish or English, join us at The Tennent's Bar on Byres Road at 7:00 PM on Mondays and Thursdays. We have different hosts on different nights, and sometimes none, but you'll always find friendly people ready to give you a warm welcome. Look for us at the top of the stairs where we'll be seated on the long benches. We look forward to meeting you and chatting with you in Spanish and English.

We begin with a 'Spanish half hour' followed by an 'English half hour' to ensure each language gets equal time and to introduce fun topics to keep the conversation flowing. We are excited to see our regulars and extend a warm welcome to new members.
