Join us for the West End Intercambio English/Español event at Tennent's Bar on Byres Road! Whether you want to practice your Spanish or English, this is the perfect opportunity to meet friendly people and improve your language skills.

We meet every Monday and Thursday at 7:00 PM. Please note that starting from May 2023, Monday evenings will be held upstairs at Curlers, while Thursdays will continue at Tennent's.

When you arrive at Tennent's, look for the two reserved tables on the left as you enter from the Byres Rd entrance. Don't worry if you can't make it exactly at 7:00 PM, the group is very informal and we usually stay for a few hours. If you arrive at 7:00 PM and don't see anyone yet, give it 15-20 minutes for people to arrive.

Everyone is welcome to join, regardless of their language level. Whether you're a beginner or a native speaker, you'll find a supportive and inclusive environment to practice and converse. We start with a "Spanish half hour" followed by an "English half hour" to ensure equal time for each language.

Even if the event page shows only one or two RSVPs, there are usually around 10-15 regular attendees. So don't be discouraged by the numbers, we always have a lively group!
