Hello everyone! Starting from Monday, 8th May, our Monday evenings will be held upstairs at Curlers, and Thursdays evenings at Tennent's!

When you enter Tennent's from the Byres Rd entrance, you can find the two reserved tables on the left.

Frequently Asked Questions

What level of proficiency is required to participate?
This group is open to everyone, from beginners to native speakers. Having some conversational ability is beneficial, but all are welcome!

If I can't make it exactly at 7:00 PM, is that a problem?
The group is very relaxed, so feel free to join whenever you can. If you arrive at 7:00 PM and no one is there yet, give it around 15-20 minutes for others to arrive!

What if only one person has RSVP'd, will the event still happen?
While the event page may show only a few RSVPs, we usually have a regular group of around 10-15 attendees.

If you want to practice and improve your Spanish or English, join us at The Tennent's Bar on Byres Road at 7:00 PM on Mondays and Thursdays. We have different hosts on different nights, and sometimes none, but there will always be friendly people to give you a warm welcome. You can find us at the top of the stairs where we will be seated on the long benches. We are excited to meet you and chat with you in Spanish and English.

We begin with a 'Spanish half hour' followed by an 'English half hour' to ensure each language receives equal time and to introduce fun topics to keep the conversation flowing. We are eager to see our regular members and extend a warm welcome to newcomers as well.
