*Calling all newcomers and expats in Canary Wharf! Join us for World Citizens Canary Wharf Expat Chats, an exciting event where we discuss life in London, share travel stories, explore social issues, and brainstorm ideas to change the world*

Are you new to Meetup or World Citizens? We are proud to be one of London's longest-running Meetup groups, connecting the international community since 2012. Our goal is to provide a safe and authentic space for meaningful discussions and cultural exchange.

Event Details: This event is designed to be an informal social gathering with a few short structured group discussions.

• When: Every Wednesday starting at 6:30 PM
• Where: The Ledger Building, 4 Hertsmere Rd, E14 4AL. If you can't find the group, please check the comments section for directions.
• Venue dress code: Smart casual or smart attire. Please refrain from wearing sportswear, tracksuit bottoms, hoods, caps, or flip flops.
• Closest stations: West India Quay, Canary Wharf
• Cost: You will be responsible for paying for your own meals or drinks.
• Hosts: We have a rotating team, so the actual host may vary for each event. Our regular members are also available to assist you with any basic inquiries.

*Our 3 simple rules*

1. Show respect and be courteous. Harassment, creepy behavior, or abusive conduct will not be tolerated.
2. Be actively engaged and participate in the discussions. Avoid using your phone (phubbing) during the event, interrupting others, or engaging in covert selling.
3. Consume alcohol responsibly. Remember, alcohol is not an excuse for inappropriate behavior.

Please also adhere to any rules set by the venue.
