🤝What is GLEX?

GLEX, short for Gyeonggi Language Exchange, is the largest language exchange meetup in Gyeonggi Province, with over 3,500 members since its establishment in 2015. Our mission is to provide a free language exchange program called GLEXathon for Koreans and non-Koreans who are interested in practicing Korean, Chinese, English, or any other language. Don't hesitate to join us if you want to improve your language skills and meet new friends!

⏰Meetup Time:

Every Wednesday - 1st round: 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM / 2nd round: 9:30 PM onwards

🌏Meetup Place:

1st round: 'Tomorrow Cafe' / 2nd round: 'Free Style' Pub

'Tomorrow Cafe' is located about a 5-minute walk from exit number 1 of Jungang Station, in front of the Lotte Cinema Central Rock building in downtown Jungang-dong.

💸Cost:

There is no cost to join the Meetup, but each attendee is required to order at least one beverage at the venue.

✌2nd Round (Optional):

For those who want to continue the gathering, join us at 'Free Style' Pub located in the basement of the 'Dalcomm Coffee' building. Enjoy pocket, darts, beer, and good company in a relaxed atmosphere.

✅How to Attend GLEX Meetup (Mandatory):

Step 1: Sign up for a Meetup account if you don't have one.

Step 2: Click the RSVP button on the GLEX Meetup page for the date you want to attend. Only register if you are genuinely interested in attending.

Step 3: Message the organizer with your name, Meetup account name, and contact information. Send the details to 010-8900-0579 (English) or KakaoTalk ID: yologlex (Your name and contact information are required for verification purposes.)

Step 4: Arrive with a positive attitude and inform the organizer of your presence. Don't worry if you're a little late.

• If you have even the slightest intention of attending, please RSVP.
• You can cancel your RSVP through the site or by contacting an organizer.
• RSVPs are accepted until 6:30 PM on the day of the Meetup.
• While there is no penalty for not showing up after RSVPing, please avoid frequent no-shows.
• It's better to RSVP and not show up than to show up without RSVPing (Attending without registering is strictly prohibited).

✅Requirements to Join (Mandatory):

Step 1: If you don't have a Meetup account, please sign up on the Meetup site.

Step 2: Choose the date you want to attend on the GLEX Meetup site and click the RSVP button. We look forward to the attendance of those who genuinely want to come.

Step 3: Please provide the organizer with your name, Meetup account name, and contact information. Send a confirmation message to 010-8900-0579 (English speaker) or KakaoTalk ID: yologlex.

Step 4: Attend the Meetup with a positive mindset and let the organizer know who you are. It's okay to be a little late.

• If you have any intention of attending, please apply.
• You can cancel your application anytime through the site (or contact the organizer).
• Applications are accepted until 6:30 PM on the day of the Meetup.
• While there is no penalty for not attending after applying, please refrain from repeated absences.
• It is better to apply and not attend than to attend without applying (Attendance without application is prohibited).
