🤝What is GLEX?

GLEX, short for Gyeonggi Language Exchange, is the largest language exchange meetup in Gyeonggi Province, with over 3,400 members since its establishment in 2015. We offer a free language exchange program called "GLEXathon" for Koreans and foreigners who are interested in practicing Korean, Chinese, English, and other languages. Don't hesitate to join us if you want to improve your language skills or learn about different cultures!

⏰Event Time:

Every Wednesday - 1st round from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM / 2nd round from 9:30 PM onwards

🌏Event Location:

1st round takes place at 'Cafe Grovy' / 2nd round at 'Free Style' Pub. 'Cafe Grovy' is a 5-minute walk from exit 1 of Jungang Station, located behind the Paris Baguette building in downtown Jungang-dong.

💸Cost:

There is no fee to attend, but each attendee is required to order at least one beverage. 'Cafe Grovy' offers a 10% discount on beverages and coffee for GLEX members. Just mention that you're a GLEX member when placing your order.

✌2nd Round (Optional):

If you'd like to continue socializing, join us for an after-meetup gathering at 'Free Style' Pub located in the basement of the 'Dalcomm Coffee' building. Feel free to enjoy pocket games, darts, and beer with friends.

✅How to Attend GLEX Meetups (Required):

Step 1: Sign up for a Meetup account if you don't have one already.

Step 2: Visit the GLEX Meetup page and click the RSVP button for the date you want to attend. Please only RSVP if you're genuinely interested in attending.

Step 3: Send your name, Meetup account name, and contact number to the organizer via text message at 010-8900-0579 or KakaoTalk ID: yologlex. This is necessary for identity verification.

Step 4: Arrive with a positive attitude and introduce yourself to the organizer. It's okay to be a little late.

• Please RSVP if you're considering attending.

• You can cancel your RSVP anytime through the website or by contacting an organizer.

• RSVPs will be accepted until 6:30 PM on the day of the meetup.

• While there is no penalty for not showing up after RSVPing, please avoid repeated absences.

• It's better to RSVP and not show up than to show up without RSVPing (attendance without registration is not allowed).
