🤝What is GLEX?

'GLEX' stands for Gyeonggi Language Exchange, the largest language exchange meetup in Gyeonggi Province with over 3,400 members since its establishment in 2015. We offer a free language exchange program called 'GLEXathon' for Koreans and foreigners who are interested in practicing Korean, Chinese, English, or any other language. Don't hesitate, join us now!

⏰Event Time:

Every Wednesday - 1st round from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM / 2nd round from 9:30 PM onwards

🌏Event Venue:

1st round at 'Cafe Grovy' / 2nd round at 'Free Style' Pub. 'Cafe Grovy' is located about a 5-minute walk from exit 1 of Jungang Station, behind the Paris Baguette building in downtown Jungang-dong.

💸Cost:

The event is completely FREE. However, attendees are required to order at least one beverage. If you attend the 1st round at 'Cafe Grovy', you can enjoy a 10% discount on drinks and coffee by mentioning "GLEX member" when placing your order.

✌2nd Round (Optional):

For those who want to continue the gathering, join us at 'Free Style' Pub located in the basement of the 'Dalcomm Coffee' building. Enjoy pocket, darts, beer, and have a great time with friends in a casual atmosphere. Feel free to drop by!

✅How to Join (Required):

Step 1: If you don't have a Meetup account yet, please sign up for one.

Step 2: Go to the GLEX Meetup site page and choose the date you want to attend. Click the RSVP button to register your attendance. We are looking forward to welcoming those who are genuinely interested in joining.

Step 3: Please provide your name, Meetup account name, and contact information to the organizer. Send a message to 010-8900-0579 (English-speaking friend) or KakaoTalk ID: yologlex. We need this information for verification purposes.

Step 4: Attend the event with a positive attitude and introduce yourself to the organizer. It's okay to arrive a little late.

• If you have even a slight interest in attending, please register.

• You can cancel your RSVP through the website at any time (or contact the organizer).

• RSVPs will be accepted until 6:30 PM on the day of the event.

• While there is no penalty for not showing up after RSVPing, please avoid repeated absences.

• It's better to RSVP and not show up than to show up without RSVPing (attending without registering is not allowed).
