🤝What is GLEX?

GLEX (Gyeonggi Language Exchange) is the largest language exchange meetup in Gyeonggi Province, with over 3,400 members since its establishment in 2015. We operate the free 'GLEXathon' language exchange program for Koreans and foreigners who are interested in practicing Korean, Chinese, English, or any other language. Don't hesitate, join us!

⏰Meetup Time:

Every Wednesday - 1st round from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM / 2nd round from 9:30 PM onwards

🌏Meetup Place:

1st round at 'Cafe Grovy' / 2nd round at 'Free Style' Pub. 'Cafe Grovy' is a 5-minute walk from exit 1 of Jungang Station, behind the 'Paris Baguette' building in downtown Jungang-dong.

💸Cost:

There is no cost to join. However, attendees are required to order at least one beverage. Members attending the 1st round at 'Cafe Grovy' can enjoy a 10% discount on drinks by mentioning "GLEX member" when ordering.

✌2nd Round (Optional):

Join us at 'Free Style' Pub located in the basement of the 'Dalcomm Coffee' building for a casual gathering with pocket, darts, beer, and more.

✅How to Join GLEX Meetup (Required):

Step 1: Sign up on the Meetup site if you don't have an account.

Step 2: Select the desired date on the GLEX Meetup page and click the RSVP button to register. Please only RSVP if you genuinely plan to attend.

Step 3: Send your name, Meetup account name, and contact information to the organizer via text message to 010-8900-0579 or KakaoTalk ID: yologlex (Name and contact information are necessary for verification).

Step 4: Attend the meetup with a positive attitude and introduce yourself to the organizer. It's okay to be a little late.

• RSVP if you have even a slight intention of attending.

• You can cancel your RSVP through the site or by contacting an organizer.

• RSVPs are accepted until 6:30 PM on the meetup day.

• Although there is no penalty for not showing up after RSVPing, please avoid repeated absences.

• RSVPing and not showing up is better than showing up without RSVPing (No entry without RSVP).

💸COST:

There is absolutely NO COST to join. Of course you should pay for any food or drinks that you might want to have at the venue. Every attending member is required to order at least one beverage.
