🤝What is GLEX?

GLEX, short for Gyeonggi Language Exchange, is the largest language exchange meetup in Gyeonggi Province, with over 3,400 members since its establishment in 2015. We offer the free "GLEXathon" language exchange program for Koreans and foreigners who want to practice Korean, Chinese, English, or any other language. Don't hesitate to join us if you're interested!

⏰Meetup Time:

Every Wednesday - 1st round: 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM / 2nd round: 9:30 PM onwards

🌏Meetup Place:

1st round: "Cafe Grovy" / 2nd round: "Free Style" Pub. Cafe Grovy is located about a 5-minute walk from exit 1 of Jungang Station, behind the Paris Baguette building in downtown Jungang-dong.

💸Cost:

There is no cost to join the meetup, but each member is required to order at least one beverage. Members attending the 1st round at Cafe Grovy can enjoy a 10% discount on drinks and coffee by mentioning "GLEX member" when ordering.

✌2nd Round (Optional):

Feel free to join us at "Free Style" Pub located in the basement of the "Dalcomm Coffee" building for pocket, darts, beer, and a casual hangout with friends.

✅How to Join GLEX Meetup (Mandatory):

Step 1: Sign up for a meetup account if you don't have one.

Step 2: Visit the GLEX Meetup page, choose the date you want to attend, and click the RSVP button to register your attendance. Please only register if you are genuinely planning to attend.

Step 3: Send your name, meetup account name, and contact information to the organizer via text message at 010-8900-0579 or KakaoTalk ID: yologlex. We need this information for verification purposes.

Step 4: Attend the meetup with a positive attitude and let the organizer know who you are. It's okay to be a little late.

• Please RSVP if you have any intention of attending.

• You can cancel your RSVP through the website or by contacting an organizer.

• RSVPs are accepted until 6:30 PM on the day of the meetup.

• Although there is no penalty for not showing up after RSVPing, please refrain from repeated cancellations.

• It is better to RSVP and not show up than to show up without RSVPing (Attending without registering is not allowed).

💸COST:

There is absolutely NO COST to join. Of course you should pay for any food or drinks that you might want to have at the venue. Every attending member is required to order at least one beverage.
