🤝What is GLEX?

GLEX, short for Gyeonggi Language Exchange, is the largest language exchange meetup in Gyeonggi Province, with over 3,400 members since its establishment in 2015. We offer a free language exchange program called "GLEXathon" for Koreans and foreigners who are interested in practicing Korean, Chinese, English, or any other language. Don't hesitate to join us if you want to improve your language skills or learn about different cultures!

⏰Event Time:

Every Wednesday - 1st round starts from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, and the 2nd round follows after.

🌏Event Venue:

The 1st round will be held at 'Cafe Grovy', and the 2nd round will take place at 'Free Style' Pub. 'Cafe Grovy' is located a 5-minute walk away from Jungang Station Exit 1, behind the Paris Baguette building in downtown Jungang-dong.

💸Cost:

Attending the meetup is completely free. However, each participant is required to order at least one beverage. If you join the 1st round at 'Cafe Grovy', you can enjoy a 10% discount on drinks and coffee by mentioning that you are a 'GLEX member' when placing your order.

✌2nd Round (Optional):

If you'd like to continue the fun, join us at 'Free Style' Pub located in the basement of the 'Dalcomm Coffee' building. You can enjoy pocket, darts, beer, and have a great time with friends. Participation is optional and there are no obligations.

✅How to Attend GLEX Meetup (Mandatory):

Step 1: Sign up for a Meetup account if you don't have one already.

Step 2: Choose the date you want to attend on the GLEX Meetup site and click the RSVP button to register. We look forward to welcoming those who genuinely want to join.

Step 3: Please provide your name, Meetup account name, and contact information to the organizer. Send this information via text message to 010-8900-0579 (English friend) or KakaoTalk ID: yologlex. (We need your name and contact information for verification purposes.)

Step 4: Attend the meetup with a positive attitude and introduce yourself to the organizer. It's okay if you arrive a little late.

• Please RSVP if you have even the slightest intention of attending.

• You can cancel your RSVP anytime through the website or by contacting an organizer.

• RSVPs are accepted until 6:30 PM on the day of the meetup.

• While there is no penalty for not showing up after RSVPing, please avoid repeated absences.

• It's better to RSVP and not show up than to show up without RSVPing (Attending without registering is not allowed).
