🤝What is GLEX?

GLEX, short for Gyeonggi Language Exchange, is the largest language exchange meetup in Gyeonggi Province, with over 3,400 members since its establishment in 2015. We offer a free program called "GLEXathon" where Koreans and non-Koreans can practice languages such as Korean, Chinese, and English. If you're interested in learning and practicing languages from different countries, don't hesitate to join us!

Every Wednesday - 1st round: 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM / 2nd round: 9:30 PM onwards

🌏Meetup Location:

1st round: "Cafe Grovy" / 2nd round: "Free Style" Pub

"Cafe Grovy" is a 5-minute walk from Exit 1 of Jungang Station, located behind the Paris Baguette building in downtown Jungang-dong.

💸Cost:

There is no membership fee, it's completely free to join. However, each member is required to order at least one beverage.

For attendees at "Cafe Grovy", there is a 10% discount on beverages and coffee. Just mention that you are a GLEX member when ordering.

✌2nd Round (Optional):

If you want to continue the gathering after the meetup, you can join us at "Free Style" Pub, located in the basement of the "Dalcomm Coffee" building. It's a place where you can casually enjoy pocket billiards, darts, and beer with friends.

✅Requirements to Join (Mandatory):

Step 1: If you don't have a Meetup account, please sign up on our Meetup site.

Step 2: Choose the date you want to attend and click the RSVP button on the GLEX Meetup page to register. Please only register if you genuinely plan to attend.

Step 3: Send a message to the organizer with your name, Meetup account name, and contact information. Please send the message to 010-8900-0579 (English) or KakaoTalk ID: yologlex. We need your name and contact information for verification purposes.

Step 4: Attend the meetup with a positive attitude and let the organizer know who you are. It's okay to be a little late.

  • If you have any intention of attending, please RSVP.
  • You can cancel your RSVP through the site or by contacting an organizer.
  • The deadline for registration is 6:30 PM on the day of the meetup.
  • While there is no penalty for not showing up after registering, please avoid repeated absences.
  • It's better to RSVP and not show up than to attend without RSVPing (attendance without registration is prohibited).
