Join us for an exciting New Year event, "Meet, Mix & Mingle with new friends," happening on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 7:00 PM. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, make new connections, and have a great time with some fun ice breakers!

As a special treat, the first 10 attendees will receive a complimentary welcome drink. Additionally, members can enjoy a special offer of 5 Corona bottles for $35!

Here's what we have planned for the evening:

- The event will kick off with a relaxed mix and mingle session, hosted by the lovely CLARA. You'll have the chance to meet all the attendees, with about 95% of them coming alone and 75% attending for the first time. Rest assured, you won't be alone as CLARA will be there to help everyone connect and mingle.

- Please note that the ice breaker session will start promptly at 8:15 PM and continue until 9:00 PM. Be sure to arrive on time to fully enjoy this part of the evening, designed to make new friends without any awkwardness or anxiety!

- Following the ice breaker session, we'll have another fun mix and mingle session until 9:30 PM. By this time, you'll already be acquainted with the other attendees and have found your like-minded people in the group. Feel free to stay and enjoy the rest of the evening with your new friends.

• We have reserved a dedicated area for our meetup, hosted by CLARA.
• CLARA will warmly welcome you at the venue and introduce you to the other attendees.
• We have a strong community of over 52,000 members across 6 meetup groups in Singapore. We'll be inviting members from all these groups to ensure a diverse and vibrant event with plenty of new people to meet. Members from other groups who RSVP will be included as guests of the organizer, giving you an idea of the expected turnout.
• The age group of 18-45 is a guideline, but we welcome attendees who are a few years outside this range. The main aim is to bring together like-minded individuals, so age tends to be a relevant factor.
• Please note that we are not a dating group. Our events are focused on helping both ladies and gents meet like-minded individuals and make new friends. If a perfect gender balance is essential for your enjoyment, our meet-up may not be suitable. However, if you're open-minded and looking to expand your social circle, we invite you to join us.
• Why should you attend our meetups?

- While we strive for a good gender balance (though not perfect) at all our events, this may vary depending on factors such as city, weather, season, event type, and age group. Nevertheless, we do our best to ensure a diverse and enjoyable experience.

- Our meetups are formally hosted, allowing our hosts to welcome you, introduce you to others, and ensure everyone feels at ease. You don't need to worry about attending alone; our hosts are there to assist and make introductions.

- We charge a minimal event cost for a couple of reasons. Firstly, we want to compensate our hosts for their time and effort. Secondly, safety is our priority. By selling tickets and having online payments, we maintain a record of attendees, promoting better behavior and accountability. We believe that free events often result in lower commitment and poor behavior. Charging a small fee helps us enhance safety, estimate numbers more accurately, achieve a better gender balance, and encourage responsible behavior.

- Many free events primarily serve the organizers' interests, allowing them to market their products or services or gain easy access to members of the opposite gender. We, on the other hand, have genuine intentions. Our events are organized solely to help our members and cover our costs.
