Join us for an engaging experience at KOYA, a community initiative centered around children in a vibrant local area. This event, taking place on March 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM, aims to broaden our activities and reach out to more volunteers. Whether you want to enjoy playing with kids, read them stories, teach subjects, or share your artistic talents, we welcome everyone who wants to contribute to the children's growth. This is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, and participation is open to everyone, not just Japanese speakers (although communication will primarily be in Japanese). If you wish to visit on another date, please contact HASE for arrangements.

KOYA was established in January 2023, in a small rented home filled with books and toys where local children can gather to play. Initially, we constructed bookshelves as a DIY project to facilitate our community space. As of August 2024, KOYA is open Wednesday and Sunday evenings, with occasional Saturday openings. We aim to provide educational support, including math tutoring, while also fostering a fun environment. Although there is a volunteer aspect, the initiative is more of a hobby-driven community effort, funded privately and not set up as a non-profit organization.

*While our events are generally scheduled for Saturdays, we may postpone if there are no participants by Wednesday. This event also serves as a promotional opportunity for our activities, and we welcome visits at any time—just message HASE for details.
