Join us on an exciting day trip to explore the magnificent National Park and volcanoes Iztaccihuatl and Popocatépetl in Mexico. Iztaccihuatl is a dormant volcano standing at 5230 meters, with a unique shape resembling a sleeping woman. Popocatépetl, on the other hand, is an active volcano reaching a height of 5426 meters, making it the second highest peak in Mexico.

This trip is suitable for all fitness levels, as we will be ascending to an altitude of 3900 to 4200 meters. We will take ample time to acclimatize, allowing you to enjoy the breathtaking views, fresh air, and beautiful nature. For those seeking a more challenging experience, there is an optional hike up or towards the Izta volcano.

During the tour, we will also visit the Paso de Cortes. This historic pass holds significance as Hernán Cortés and his men traversed it in 1519 after the battle of Cholula. They marched through this pass towards the valley of Mexico and the city of Tenochtitlán, where they confronted the Aztecs and their emperor Moctezuma. Legend has it that some of Cortés' men even climbed Popocatépetl, descended into the crater, and collected sulfur to make gunpowder.

This trip will provide an opportunity to explore the State of Mexico and its rich cultural heritage.

To secure your spot, we kindly ask that you make the payment 5 to 10 days before the tour. This will allow us to arrange the appropriate transport for the group.

The price for this adventure is 1650 Mexican Pesos per person, which includes private transportation, an experienced driver, a knowledgeable coordinator, Spanish explanations throughout the tour, and entrance to the National Park.

Payment can be made through a transfer from a Mexican bank, a cash deposit at a Banamex bank, or with cash at any 7 Eleven store.
