Join us on an exciting day tour to explore two enchanting villages in Mexico City that are located a bit further away from the bustling city center. Our first stop is Mixquic, which is one of the 21 Barrios Mágicos of Mexico City. Immerse yourself in the rich prehispanic and colonial history of the area, discover its picturesque rural landscapes, and indulge in its mouthwatering gastronomy.

The next destination on our itinerary is Tlahuac, the rural counterpart of Xochimilco. Get ready to be captivated by its charming channels and chinampas, which we will explore while visiting the beautiful monastery and vibrant market. If possible, we'll also have the opportunity to admire the regional museum, home to three stunning prehispanic ovens shaped like masks.

Don't miss the chance to visit Mixquic, renowned for its mesmerizing Day of the Dead ceremonies. However, this village is worth exploring all year round. Wander through its colonial town, marvel at the numerous prehispanic artifacts in the convent, and admire the small but exquisite murals scattered throughout the area.

Embark on this unforgettable day trip from Mexico City and let's discover these incredible places together!
