Join us for an unforgettable experience in one of Mexico City's oldest and most traditional neighborhoods. Discover the fascinating history and colonial architecture of Iztacalco, a borough that predates México Tenochtitlan.

During this walking tour, we will explore the charming borough of Iztacalco, which is now recognized as one of the 21 Barrios Mágicos in Mexico City. We will visit the famous Jamaica Market, where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant local culture. Additionally, we will have the opportunity to dine at a local Cantina, where you can enjoy complimentary "Botana" food with your drink purchase.

Iztacalco is one of the 16 delegaciones (boroughs) that make up Mexico City. Situated in the center-east of the district, it is the smallest borough in the city. The history of Iztacalco dates back to 1309 when it was settled by the Mexica people on the island of Iztacalco, located in Lake Texcoco. Over time, the lake was drained, and the community remained small and secluded throughout the colonial period.

Join us as we uncover the hidden gems of Mexico City together!

$450 mxn pesos per person for the walking tour. Please note that the cost of the local food and pulque tastings is not included. For an enhanced experience with transportation, the price is $750 pesos per person.
