I am a university minor in linguistics and I am currently trying out different language learning apps (preply, hellotalk, babble, duplingo) to learn Portuguese at a daily conversation level. I want to be able to watch a movie, make phonecalls and read a book without living in Portugal or Brazil, and I have given myself a year and half an hour daily.
