Professional speaker and researcher with many television appearances and previously professional lawyer and now Judge. I am obsessed with learning languages and now spend most of my day working on various languages. I am a native English (American) and Spanish speaker as I was born to a family that only spoke Spanish but was raised in New York City. I currently split my time between NY and Fl and enjoy traveling abroad and meeting new people. I am happily married with one wonderful daughter who also loves languages and is MUCH better than I with them. She speaks French fluently and intermediate level Mandarin as well as of course Native level english. As a result of attending a French school in New York our daughter was exposed to many cultures, and we de facto made many international friends. My love of languages stemmed from these experiences with so many lovely new people. I also operate a free chat service called UpLingua which provides facebook groups in 6 different languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese) and a Meetup group which does several weekly free chats to help others practice languages. (The meet up is also Called Uplingua and we have three versions in California, New York and Florida). I am here to personally meet people for language exchange and for discussions. I am also a bit of an online entrepreneur, and am working on several virtual projects with the ultimate goal of retiring to Southern Europe (Spain it seems at this point). I am extremely interested in meeting people who are interested in these areas: Science, Law, Business, Online business, Politics, History, Space (outer Space - I love black holes and astro-physics and anything related), comedy, music, and anything related to raising children and especially travel.
