Greeting in Zulu is so easy. There’s no good morning, good afternoon etc.

Sawubona - Hello (any time of day)
Yebo - Yes. Used as a response to Sawubona.

Unjani - how are you (1 person)
Ninjani - how are you? (Group of people)

NGIYAphila - i am well/alive/healthy (English equivalent to I AM GOOD/FINE)

Siyaphila - we are good/fine.

Wena unjani? - and you, how are you. (1 person)

Nami ngiyaphila - I am also fine.
