GarrettGiles222March 2017 Hey, I am not a native Swedish speaker, but as I understand it, 'g' is pronounced the same as in English, If the letter after the g is a soft vowel, 'ö', 'ä', 'e', 'i', 'y', it is pronounced like the 'y' in the words yolk or yellow. 'K' and 'Sk" also change before these soft vowels. The 'k' is pronounced like a 'sh' and the 'sk' sounds like the 'sj' of sju (the number 7). Hope this helps! |
