![]() | PaulZaikinJuly 2018 the emphasis in russian are not the same as in the english language, if you've just started to study russian there is one thing you should know: the words order in russian sentences are free (no, that doesn't mean that you can randomly mix words and sentences still will be correct; but there are a lot of constructions due to which you can compose them rightly). emphasis in russian are expressed on account of the words order, for example: Он вошёл в комнату (he entered the room), and forgive me this next sentence: В комнату вошёл он (the room he entered). Each of them are correct (except the english last, haha) but the first one is just a fact, like someone has just entered the room and there is nothing special in this; the second one makes the accent on 'he', like it's HE entered the room, not someone else. |
