This means to go to some place
for example you can say : on monday i go to doctor - W poniedziałek wybieram się do doktora

If you want to go somewhere and ask where to go, you can use "wybrać się" (in your example sentence: for a walk). If you decide to go and you are ready, you can tell: "wybieram się", and you are doing it right now. It is a small difference but in polish it makes a difference.
