即使 jí shǐ
连词，表示假设的让步：～我们的工作取得了很大的成绩，也不能骄傲自满ㄧ～你当时在场，恐怕也没有别的办法。‘即使 ’所表示的条件，可以是尚未实现的事情，也可以是与既成事实相反的事情。
即便 jíbiàn
副词，态度比JI SHI强硬些。
――用来加强语气,指 即使;纵使
即便你有理,也不该发脾气啊!

The meaning between 即使 and 即便 is the same meaning. But 即使 is more often than 即便。
