I really would like help with my Japanese! I am trying to avoid using romaji and would prefer using Kana and Kanji. I am hoping someone is able to recommend a Japanese keyboard or software I can download for use. I have a Japanese keyboard on my ipad, but would prefer to have one for my PC. Is it better to just buy a Japanese keyboard (hardware)? An onscreen keyboard kind of sounds like a pain. I am open to suggestions!

![]() | ureshiNovember 2013 Hello! I would like to suggest that you download and install jp pack if you use windows. After that, put the Japanese as default in keyboard language. The best part is you can change from alphanumeric to hiragana and vice versa by using Ctrl + ` (this one is on top of Tab key). I always use it this way. Hope you'll try it! |

LilysDreamAugust 2013 if you have windows you should be able to set the option to wirte in japanese with your normal keyboard (right lower corner, where the acronym for your language is)
![]() | arckainAugust 2013 For me I highly recomend a qwerty keybord, you'll be able to use the japanese language... After, you can create your own keybord for hiragana/katakana if you do not want to write romanji... See Farangse topic... With qwerty, you'll be able to talk easily in English or other any languages! ![]() |
